Don't miss the Block Party on Friday night. It gives you the chance to get up close with the boats and teams on Main Street. The trailers are designed to show the boats to their full extent. As an example, the Miss GEICO boat is 47 feet long, weighs over 5/12 tons and can reach speeds of over 170mph!

On Saturday and Sunday, you can visit the pits in the car park of the Van Wezel at 777 N Tamiami Trail. There, you are encouraged to look around and see the teams preparing their boats and "craning-in" to the water from the backs of their very impressive trucks. There is a Fan Zone area at the pits area where you can enjoy food, drink, or purchase merchandise. Across the inlet from the Van Wezel car park is Centennial Park, where one of the cranes will be putting boats in the water at the hot/wet Pits - 1059 N Tamiami so there will be plenty to see and a great location for photographers.

Lido Beach is the best place to watch the racing. On Saturday you can watch the P1 AquaX jet skiers warming up and then their first two races. Between 11 am and 3 pm, the powerboats will be testing their boats on the course so there will be plenty to see. There is another Fan Zone area set up in the car park at 400 Benjamin Franklin Dr. which is the same location as VIP Hospitality Tent. Here you can also enjoy food, drink, or purchase merchandise.

There is VIP Hospitality on offer on Lido Beach if you want to make the event even more special, with an open bar and lunch included. Under 12s go free and if you have to keep an eye on them, relax as there are 4 wide-screen TVs to follow the action. If you have purchased VIP Hospitality tickets, there will be a table at registration in the pits on Friday where you can collect your tickets earlier, if you would like to.
