Household Hazardous Waste Community Collection Event - City of Sarasota
Sarasota County and the City of Sarasota are hosting a household hazardous waste collection event on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022 from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at Payne Park. Please view the event flyer for additional information about items that will be accepted and procedures for disposal.
Hazardous Waste at Your Home
Due to safety and cost, most household hazardous wastes are not collected curbside. Residents of Sarasota County may take accepted items generated from non-business related activities to one of the County's Chemical Collection Centers for safe disposal free of charge. Proof of county residency (driver’s license, tax bill, utility bill, etc.) may be required.
