The public is invited to attend a dedication ceremony for a mural, entitled Reveille by local artist Danielle Glaysher, honoring our veterans.  The ceremony will dedicate Reveille to the members of the Veterans Federation of War Sunshine Post in Sarasota Florida, as well as our veterans throughout Sarasota and beyond.  Mayor Erik Arroyo will offer a brief statement to recognize our country’s veterans as well as to honor Memorial Day – a day of remembrance and recognition of the lives dedicated to freedom and independence. 

The mural was funded through the generosity of the Karp Foundation in collaboration with the City of Sarasota Office of Public Art.
