The City of Sarasota is reimagining Ringling Boulevard to enable safe access for all users, regardless of age, ability, or mode of transportation. Ringling Trail provides accessibility to and from the Legacy Trail at Payne Park to Downtown Sarasota while connecting them to shops, offices, homes, and parks.
Project Goals:
- Create safe access for all users
- Provide enhanced multi modal opportunities
- Support the economic growth of the area
- Expand connections to the Legacy Trail
- Provide accessibility to essential services
Project Limits:
Ringling Boulevard from Lime Avenue to Pineapple Avenue
Schedule:
Start Date: May 2022
End Date: December 2022
The schedule is tentative since the work is subject to weather or unforeseen site construction issues.
Ribbon Cutting: Thursday, December 15th, 2022 at 10am
